Shakespeare in Hollywood, Asia, and Cyberspace shows readers how ideas of Asia operate in Shakespeare performances and how Asian and Anglo-European forms of cultural production combine to transcend the mode of inquiry that focuses on fidelity. The result is a new creativity that finds expression in different cultural and virtual locations.

The play is based on a historical event. The famous German director Reinhardt comes to Hollywood to direct his version of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s.

William Shakespeare (bapt. 26 April – 23 April ) was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's greatest dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon" (or simply "the Bard").
